Do BannerFlex Banner Brackets Require Consistent Maintenance?

One of the most frequent questions we’re asked is this: how often will I have to maintain my banner hardware?

We understand why this is an important question for many of our customers. After all, what’s the point of buying banner hardware if you have to maintain it constantly? Well, here at BannerFlex, we’re happy to report that our banner hardware needs only minimal maintenance, even over the course of years. In fact, we’re so confident in the design of our products, that our hardware comes with a 12-year warranty.

What’s the Difference Between the Standard Rod and Airow Rod?

This is another common question we get from customers interested in our Airow Rod. And we understand—if you’re not already familiar with the unique design of our Airow Rod, then you might not know what to expect.

“Standard Rod.” The so-called “standard rod” that we sell is a round, pultruded, fiberglass rod with a consistent strength throughout the full length of the rod. We put “standard rod” in scare quotes because even though it’s our base design, it’s extremely reliable. In fact, we trust this rod so much we even use it for our Dori Poles.

Airow Rod. Our Airow Rod is a modified version of the standard rod, where the Airow is designed so the rod tapers down toward the outer edge, kind of similar to a fishing pole. And like a fishing pole, this makes the Airow Rod more and more flexible toward the tip of the rod.

What Colors Does BannerFlex Hardware Come In?

This question is a bit less technical, but we see why it matters to many of our customers. While we have two standard colors—uncoated aluminum and black powder—our round fiberglass rods are also available in an off-white coloring. If you want more options, then you’re in luck; we also offer custom powder coat colors for the majority of our BannerFlex products.
